I will go first
$887 just in hard drives and USB hub. Using old laptop
xch is $23 today so 887/23 = 37.6 xch
12.1 xch after 27 months
I should have never started farming especially factoring power costs
Even if you have an always on PC and are ignoring power, buying drives might not recover their own costs before failing. Pretty tough spot to be in for a farmer.
I’d never buy the coin itself, the project vision and corporate never really interested me (the tech was cool though). World Bank stuff… NFTs… carbon credits… lacked purpose IMO. And I’m not a trader, I’m slower than a bot so not even gonna bother there.
My numbers though:

ehh… let’s say 2 Chia. I donated, ‘burned,’ or forgot about it all. Stopped farming a lot. Not worth my time to “cash out.”
Conclusion: Still wouldn’t buy the coin on purpose. Was farming for fun.
